I'm a seasoned entrepreneur and advisor, with a passion for nurturing talent and scaling businesses. I started my journey in Toronto (CA) and have since lived and worked in Seattle (US) and London (UK). I'm currently operating three companies in addition to some advisory work and volunteering as a school parent governor. My background is a blend of technology (predictive modelling, machine learning, and AI) and business operations (building and scaling business units). On the tech side, I've done a lot of R&D work delivering business-ready forecasting tools (having once delivered an enterprise prediction platform capable of predicting two years of revenue with 5 days of data) and numerous data warehousing and real-time analytics tools. On the operational side of things I've scaled business units between 200%-400%, including scaling one P&L from £3MM/y to over £12MM/y and growing the team from 20 to over 80 in two years. I have been advising businesses for about eight years and have been mentoring people at all stages of their career for about 12 years. As a mentor, my approach is direct yet friendly. I aim to inspire and problem-solve. I'm not much of a coach and am very results-oriented. I don't have all the answers, but I like to share what I can and problem-solve collaboratively. I'm autistic and have ADHD, and have a particular interest in helping anyone who might face challenges other people don't.
