Arun Prasad, Upnotch Member, is the Director of Solutions Consulting, North America at LivePerson. Prior to LivePerson, Arun was the Director of Sales Engineering for North America and Aisa-Pacific at SignalFx, a Splunk/Cisco company. A results-oriented senior technical sales leader, Arun has a proven track record of providing business solutions through SaaS/Cloud, AI/ML, Observability, ITSM, and enterprise software technology sales. He has a background in pre-sales engineering, and a unique combination of skills and experiences including building value propositions, developing technical/business solutions, and fostering valuable relationships with clients, partners, and channels. With prior experience in commercial, enterprise and channel sales and a history of managing teams of individual contributors and managers. He’s adamant about his colleagues earning the privilege to not only be trusted advisors but trusted guides. Arun is well-versed in navigating complex organizational structures and delivering exceptional outcomes. Before joining LivePerson, he spent a decade at IBM, where he honed his expertise in technical sales, leadership and was a board member of IBM’s official mentoring and professions board. Arun also was a Global Director at SignalFx, (a Splunk, now Cisco company), leading four global departments. He’s also built and led nine departments for five different organizations Prior to his career in technology and technical sales, he worked as a Physical Chemist at both Hitachi Pharmaceuticals and Perkin-Elmer/Applied BioSystems. A believer in constant and continuous self-improvement, at present, Arun is also in the process of applying for his MBA though Wharton’s Executive MBA program. He’s also currently learning Mandarin and in the process of launching two non-profit organizations. Arun was also part of Toastmasters International for 15 years, where he obtained his Distinguished Toastmasters Award. Their highest achievement and honor. During his time with Toastmasters, he led and mentored the San Francisco clubs. He was the mentor and sponsor for new clubs such as the ones at Cisco, the City of Brisbane, a suburb of San Francisco, CA and others. Arun has guided individuals from various backgrounds, including developers, product managers, and engineers, helping them grow and advance their careers. He is passionate about relationship-building, instilling confidence, and developing leadership skills in his mentees. Arun is eager to share his knowledge and experience with individuals looking to take different approaches to challenges and excel in their professional journeys.
